My Baba's Kitchen

About the film

Have you ever wondered how your grandparents met? My Baba’s Kitchen is an animated short that tells the story of two young people who fell in love under extraordinary circumstances. Taking place in the past and present as a conversation between a grandmother and granddaughter, the film explores the binding forces of culture, music and food.

I oversaw the film from its inception to its completion, working in collaboration with writer/director Stephanie Tyrenko. I was also responsible for the post-production work: editing, recording the narration, sound editing, foley work and the credits sequence.
